Corinthians clinch Group E top position

Ferro - Corinthians 57-77
Corinthians are the first Liga Sudamericana finalists. They beat Ferro to clinch the top position in Group E. Corinthians recorded a 28:20 lead after ten minutes. The Brazilian team went on a strong 35:19 run in the second half to secure the winning outcome. Arthur Pecos (183-PG-94) provided 15 points, while Kyle Fuller (185-G-92, college: Vanderbilt) added 14 points for the winners. Sebastian Orresta (188-PG-93) responded with 16 points for Ferro.

Piratas - Pinheiros 67-95
Pinheiros rallied past Piratas to earn the first win in Group E. Betinho Nardi Duarte (195-SG-88) produced 21 points to lead the Brazilian team. Pinheiros built a 49:29 halftime lead. They followed with a convincing 46:28 second half run to secure the win. Lucas Pereira (203-PF-98) had 12 points in the victory. Terrence Shannon (203-F-79, college: Elgin CC) answered with 31 points and 7 rebounds for Piratas.
